LMS-1 Learn about our Academey Architecture

Our academy journey began in 2019 when our director set out to share his 40+ years of expertise in downstream refining with a broader audience. Although he had taught professionals worldwide for over 30 years, only a few hundred had benefited from his insights. To reach millions, we launched this academy.
After testing various LMS platforms, we found that none truly matched his vision. Ultimately, we created a custom platform using Learndash, databases, scripts, and Office integrations. This allowed us to automate the LMS setup process, completing it within weeks instead of months. Now, we’re excited to share our methodology through 30+ slide packs, guiding you to “Plan the Work and Work the Plan” to build an effective and streamlined LMS tailored to your needs.
LMS-2 Build your LMS From Dream to Reality in weeks and not years

This Learning Management System (LMS) for the downstream refining industry combines Artificial Intelligence (AI), Microsoft Office tools, Python scripting, databases, and LearnDash to streamline educational content creation, management, and delivery. Built by Offsite Management Systems LLC, the LMS automates formatting, structuring, and backend tasks like performance tracking and report generation. A secure database supports course data management, while LearnDash components enable multimedia, interactive content, and quizzes.
Cron jobs automate updates, enrollments, and notifications, enhancing operational efficiency. AI-driven analytics personalize learning paths by monitoring progress optimizing engagement and retention. This scalable, secure system meets the refining sector’s unique training needs, offering adaptable and practical professional development. With AI and automation at its core, the LMS framework sets a new standard for digital education in complex industries.
LMS-3 Management of Remote Server Access using SSH Connection

This document details the steps for managing remote server access to MySQL databases using SSH connections, specifically designed for Kinsta-hosted databases accessible through Excel VBA. It provides a comprehensive guide on using SSH protocol tunneling instead of traditional ODBC drivers, making remote database interactions more secure and adaptable. Key steps include installing prerequisite software (PuTTY, MySQL Workbench, Git), configuring SSH and MySQL connections, and creating custom SSH sessions in PuTTY for automated access.
The document also explains the methodology for command-line MySQL access through SSH, enabling database updates, record deletion, and directory management via Excel. VBA code automates switching between live and staging environments, ensuring only one session runs at a time. This approach reduces manual intervention and streamlines data management tasks, providing a fully automated solution for secure, efficient database handling tailored to the requirements of the Offsite Management Systems LLC LMS and other remote management needs
