I wish you would offer this excellent course in India as we have 15 refineries and they all focus on onsite and ignore offsite operations which is you showed affect the refinery’s bottom-line.

Good Addition to "F2F", Thanks

The demonstration was little difficult to follow due to the software used (we don’t have on our site). The demonstration showed the values entered and report with end results, but I wish there was more shown on the calculations-using equation we learned in the morning of course. It would be nice to have a demo of actually adding cause and effect of watching a blend in process – showing how optimizer, analyzers, controls and how would react together. It would be a good way to relate the theory we learned in slides to real life process.

Course contained a lot of foundation/basic information relative to my experience level. Seems to be a good course for people with less experience.

I liked how the challenges of blending were discussed and importance of understanding models and importance of blend header.

Overall, very useful course

Overall useful reminders probably best for < 2 years on the job

Some topics in the morning are kind of redundant

Include videos to elaborate even more

There were too many slides with lot of equation which could have been reduced

The material could have been condensed even more with more discussion in each area.

Few more examples like the RVP regression example for topics like lumped bias or non-linear bend models. It would be helpful for comparing the current site practice and easier to take home.

More real life examples of how concepts play out

A case with linear and non-linear formulation ca be presented for difference and benefits

The first two topics could have covered more quickly. As the blender optimizers, we are all very aware of the difficulties in convincing management of the importance of optimized blending.
